Outstanding Indian Cuisine and Service at Nawaab We recently visited Nawaab Indian Restaurant while on a trip to Cornwall with family, and it was an unforgettable dining experience. As visitors from Birmingham, we know our Indian flavors, and Nawaab did not disappoint! The food was absolutely excellent—every dish was rich in authentic taste, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home, ensuring we were well looked after throughout our meal. The restaurant is also impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. If you’re in Cornwall and craving top-notch Indian cuisine, Nawaab is the place to go. They truly understand what great Indian food is all about, and we will definitely be returning on our next visit!

Having first read the most current reviews we were a little sceptical as to their authenticity, my wife and I can now confirm this restaurant is absolutely fabulous. Unpretentious (clean and comfortable) surroundings without bling, don’t hint at the truly flavoursome food. Served with a warm welcome and a genuine smile. There were only two complaints from us, the portions were too big and we don’t live near enough to be regular visitors!! We started with the customary papadum and pickles and vegetable samosas, lovely. We then had the chicken dupiasza, the Saag Gost Sarson (lamb with spinach etc) together with a portion of garlic rice and a keema nan bread. Both dishes were truly delicious but sadly we were unable to finish it all .

Fantastic. Bit of a pleasant suprise. This small curry house in Cambourne looks a bit basic, but oh, the food We ordered a lamb vindaloo and a lamb dupiaza for our mains with a peshwari naan and plain rice to accompany them. We took a few poppadoms as a starter. The poppadoms were super fresh, light, and very tasty, the perfect start to our meal. The mains were something else, though. Both dishes were served with delicious chunks of tender lamb, full of flavour that melted in the mouth. The vindaloo sauce was amazing, a strong hit of pepper as it entered the mouth, followed quickly by the sweetness of tomatoes. The dupiaza was lightly spiced with just a hint of sweetness, exactly as it should be. My only grumble would be the peshwari naan. Although freshly cooked and tasty, it was somewhat lacking in filling. There is a hint of sugar and coconut but no dried fruit or nuts. That being said, it did not distract from the overall meal. Large portions and reasonable prices made this a meal to remember. You can be sure that if we ever visit Cambourne again, the Nawaab will definitely be on the "to do" list.

I’ve been a regular at Nawaab for over a year, and the food is always well-cooked. A group of 9 claimed their wings were raw and said they wasted most of the curry—but look at this picture, it tells a different story. The food looked fine. I think they just wanted free food. It’s unfair to blame the restaurant for customers like that. Restaurants have CCTV and should report such cases to the police.

Tried this restaurant twice during our stay in the cornwall. The halal good options are very rare in the south, and so we found this place. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. They asked about our preferences and spice levels and made dishes according to it. Overall, the food was nice and tasted traditionally indian. The price of Naans felt a bit overpriced as compared to main dish prices.

A complicated one to review - the food was outstanding, service was a little to be desired, which I'm sure with future visits it will be perfect ( we absolutely will be returning ) our daughter has a severe dairy and egg allergy and the staff constantly gave us reassurance that all would be fine. In the end it was. There was no consistency. Would I eat here again, absolutely, the staff was fantastic and interacted with my son, just the little details. Thank you all for the wonderful food and drinks. We will probably see you next weekend

Thought we would try here as the reviews were really good it did not disappoint the food was amazing. Owner was lovely really looked after us would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a good curry
